Learn to bake New York City’s iconic bagels and baked cheesecake in this hands-on evening workshop.

Master the art of bagel-making, from kneading the dough to shaping and finally boiling it to develop its signature chewy texture. Discover the secrets to achieving the iconic golden crust through boiling and baking.

For dessert, you’ll create the ultimate baked cheesecake. Learn how to create a buttery biscuit base before crafting a smooth, creamy filling. You’ll perfect the technique of baking for that elusive ‘wobble’ in the centre!

Enjoy a delicious dinner as you learn, and take home the rest of your cheesecake to savour later. By the end of the evening, you’ll have mastered two iconic New York treats and mingled with some fellow baking enthusiasts!

This course uses wheat, dairy and egg. Unfortunately we aren’t able to tailor recipes for substitutions or alterations, as these can fundamentally change the composition and outcome of the recipes. For more information regarding our ingredients, please contact us before booking your course.

This workshop runs for 2 hours.

This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience.

Note: All minors under the age of 12  may not attend as the class and equipment will not be suitable for their needs. Under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult. If at any point during the workshop the tutor believes the child is causing a disruption to the class, he/she will ask both the adult and child to leave.
