Master Great British pies for your next picnic.

Alongside our expert baker, you’ll learn the secrets behind mastering a hot water crust pastry for your pork pie. From the specific technique to the precise shaping, you’ll master each step before watching your creations bake to golden perfection. Our expert will also guide you on how to set a pork pie perfectly for that signature finish.

To complement your picnic spread, we will also guide you in creating a delicious vegetarian picnic pie of spinach, goats cheese, sweet potato and onion. Discover the diverse flavours and ingredients that make this savoury pie a crowd-pleaser, perfect for sharing with friends and family on a sunny day.

By the end of this workshop, you’ll have crafted two iconic British pies using the distinctive hot water crust.

During the live workshop we will bake: PORK PIE & GOATS CHEESE, SPINACH, SWEET POTATO & RED ONION PIE

The recipes are designed for bakers of all skill level and to be mixed by hand, using domestic kitchen utensils, no specialist equipment is needed.

Your workbook includes a complete ingredients shopping and equipment list. The workshop will last approximately 2 – 2.5 hours.
