A small island we may be, but our love of baking runs deep. All along the British isles we take great pride in our regional bakes, this course will take you through some of our much loved sweet treats.

Together we’ll master the Bakewell tart and its two key elements; buttery pastry and traditional almond frangipane. Wales’ delectable Bara Brith, packed full of fruits and spices this is the epitome of a British winter bake. Last but not least the West Country’s signature and most debated topic, scones. Cream, jam, jam, cream, we’ll let you decide.

During the live baking workshop we will bake: BAKEWELL TART, BARA BRITH & SCONES.

The recipes are designed for bakers of all skill level and to be mixed by hand.

Your workbook includes a complete ingredients shopping and equipment list. The workshop will last approximately 2 – 2.5  hours.
