The ultimate Bread Ahead online cake making class  

Become a master cake baker from home; learn all the skills you need to impress friends and family with expertly baked and decorated classic cakes. 

Our British Tea Time online cake class covers the essentials of classic cake baking methods. During the live zoom workshop you’ll create 3 unique styles of cake, from the traditional Victoria sponge using the creaming method to the technical and lighter than air Genoise (Swiss roll) and a decadent moist chocolate sponge and ganache.

Under the expert guidance of our bakery teachers you can truly develop your cake baking skills, whether you’re a beginner or experienced baker. We’ll guide you through the techniques and methods so you can craft your own masterpieces worthy of the finest afternoon tea.

During the 2 hour live baking workshop we will bake: MATTHEW’S CHOCOLATE CAKE, CHOCOLATE GANACHE, VICTORIA SPONGE, SWISS ROLL & BUTTERCREAM.

 

The recipes are designed for bakers of all skill level and to be mixed by hand, using domestic kitchen utensils. But you may find these recipes easier to produce with an electric mixer if you have one. Your workbook includes a complete ingredients shopping and equipment list. The workshop will last approximately 2 – 2.5  hours.
