When it comes to festive baking, some of our all time favourites come from Germany. In this class, you will learn to master three of them, something to please all of your guests with a poppy seed stollen, linzer cookies and savoury fritters.
Our poppy seed stollen – slightly different from a traditional stollen, is equally as fun to make and just as delicious. We’ll create an enriched dough filled with a sweet poppyseed paste, and plaited into a decorative loaf ready for your festive table.
Linzer cookies, usually eaten in Germany during advent are prepared with a biscuit base similar to a sweet pastry, then packed full with a delicious jam.
Last but by no means least, our savoury fritters, serve them hot with cheese and your friends and family will devour these in a heartbeat!
This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience and runs for 3 hours.
