The term flatbread covers such a diverse range of breads and the Middle East have a wealth of baking history to offer here. Through this E workbook and in your workshop we will explore some of the much loved breads from this part of the globe so you can have a fresh taste of the Middle East no matter where you are.

During the 2.5 hour live workshop we will bake: LAVASH, PITTA BREAD, IRANIAN SANGAK.

You will need a sourdough starter to make the Iranian Sangak bread, you can order starter for nationwide delivery here: sourdough bread kit.

The recipes are designed for bakers of all skill level and to be mixed by hand, no specialist equipment is needed. The workshop requires some preparation of ingredients and doughs the day prior to the event, your workbook includes a complete shopping and equipment list. The workshop will last approximately 2.5 hours.
