1st Workshop: Sunday 17th January 2021 10am

French baking is such a wonderfully rich and diverse subject, it is almost impossible to pick a favourite area. Our introduction to French baking is just that, the perfect gateway to the bounty of French bakes.

This course introduces you to 3 very different but classic French breads. Although similar in their ingredients the varied shaping techniques of these breads gives each a wonderfully distinct texture and finish when baked.

Experience the scents and flavours of French boulangeries in your very own kitchen.


During the 2 hour live workshop we will bake: BAGUETTES, FOUGASSE & PAIN DE CAMPAGNE.

There is a small amount of dough preparation you will need to complete the day before your workshop. This is a very simple recipe and we have included all the details in the workbook.

The recipes are designed for bakers of all skill level and to be mixed by hand, using domestic kitchen utensils, no specialist equipment is needed.  Your workbook includes a complete ingredients shopping and equipment list. The workshop will last approximately 2 – 2.5 hours.
