Join us in celebrating a time honoured tradition in the Bread Ahead calendar, Lammas Day. Every year we mark the year’s first harvest of wheat with a special service held with our friends and neighbours at Southwark Cathedral. This year we would like to invite you to celebrate with us. Under the expert guidance of our bakers you will create your very own traditional wheatsheaf. A masterclass in decorative bread design, in this half day workshop you will learn to craft this iconic loaf.

The wheatsheaf will take approximately 2.5 hours to bake, we will invite participants to join us in the Lammas day service across the road in Southwark Cathedral. Or you’ll be welcome to browse the market and return at the scheduled time to collect your baked wheatsheaf.

This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience and runs for 3 hours.
