When it comes to festive baking, it doesn’t get much more Christmassy than mince pies. We take our mince pies very seriously at Bread Ahead, we’ll be teaching you how to make a proper mince pie, perhaps the best you’ve ever had!

During the live workshop together we’ll be making a classic sweet shortcrust pastry and rich mincemeat from scratch. You’ll also create a frangipane variation of the classic – the only difficult part will be deciding which you prefer!

During the 2 hour live workshop we will bake: SWEET SHORTCRUST PASTRY, MINCEMEAT & FRANGIPANE.

The recipes are designed for bakers of all skill level and to be mixed by hand, using domestic kitchen utensils, no specialist equipment is needed. Your workbook includes a complete ingredients shopping and equipment list. The workshop will last approximately 2 hours.
