In this workshop you’ll master pâte sablée – a sweet pastry, and use it to make sablé aux fraises biscuits and orange curd tartlets.

Pâte sablée is a cornerstone of pastry baking and is used in many traditional tarts and biscuits. It can be a tricky pastry to work with but it’s worth taking the time to master it. 

Our expert baker will guide you step by step in using the pâte sablée to create sweet sablé aux fraises biscuits and zesty orange curd tartlets. These delicious bakes are often served as part of an Afternoon Tea so getting a beautiful finish is just as important. By the end of the class, you will have two bakes that not only look exquisite but taste exquisite too!

The recipes are designed for bakers of all skill level and to be mixed by hand, using domestic kitchen utensils, no specialist equipment is needed.

Your workbook includes a complete ingredients shopping and equipment list. The workshop will last approximately 2 – 2.5 hours.
