Learn to craft three iconic recipes, each a staple of Portuguese baking. Perfect for beginners and baking enthusiasts alike, this session is your ticket to Portugal’s finest baked goods. Master the art of Portugal’s famous custard tarts—crispy, golden pastry filled with creamy custard, caramelised to perfection. Bake heavenly Pão de Deus (Coconut Buns), topped with a sweet coconut crust that’s as indulgent as it is irresistible and finally you’ll learn to bake soft, pillowy rolls (papos secos) —staples of Portuguese tables, perfect for any meal.

Some doughs will be pre-prepared so that we can focus on the key stages of these bakes, ensuring you take home as many delicious bakes as possible.

This course uses wheat, dairy, egg & nuts. Unfortunately we aren’t able to tailor recipes for substitutions or alterations, as these can fundamentally change the composition and outcome of the recipes. For more information regarding our ingredients, please contact us before booking your course.
