In this mini master’s workshop, our junior bakers will learn to make two delicious puff pastry creations: Puff Pastry Fruit Roll and Cheese Twists.

Puff pastry can be a delightful challenge for young bakers, and in this class, they will be expertly guided through the entire process. They will gain hands-on experience with baking equipment, measuring ingredients, and mastering various pastry techniques.

Puff Pastry Fruit Roll

Junior bakers will start by making Puff Pastry Fruit Roll. They will be introduced to pastry, learn the lamination technique, and practice dough shaping. Additionally, they will watch a custard demonstration and use this knowledge to create their fruit roll.

Cheese Twists

Next, they will move on to making Cheese Twists. They will learn a simple lamination technique, practice dough shaping, and explore filling techniques to create these savoury twists.

By the end of the class, students will have the skills to confidently recreate these delicious puff pastry treats at home.

Our expert baker will guide the children through each step, ensuring they gain hands-on experience and build confidence in their baking skills.

By the end of the class, your child will have:

- Gained confidence in baking.
- Mastered essential baking techniques.
- A selection of freshly baked products to take home.

Parents are invited to attend free of charge; however, they will not be involved in any baking activities.

All equipment (including aprons) and ingredients will be provided by the school. Snacks and refreshments will also be provided.
