In this class, you’ll create a savoury pastry and use it to make delicious galettes, as well as mouth-watering parmesan sable biscuits.

Our expert baker will guide you in creating the free-form galette pastry based on a typical shortcrust but our Bread Ahead recipe gives it an extra flake! You’ll also prepare parmesan sable biscuits, using the same recipe as our Tea House Afternoon Tea menu, these are rich, buttery and oh so more-ish. 

These bakes will show you two different techniques and skills for working with savoury pastry.

The recipes are designed for bakers of all skill level and to be mixed by hand, using domestic kitchen utensils, no specialist equipment is needed.

Your workbook includes a complete ingredients shopping and equipment list. The workshop will last approximately 1.5 – 2 hours.
