Learn to make three traditional Scandinavian bakes to share with your loved ones this festive season.

Scandinavian baking fits perfectly with this time of year, the warming spices and citrus flavours are synonymous with Christmas. In just a few hours you’ll learn how to create two enriched doughs, one studded with citrus and another show stopping centrepiece to dress the festive table. 

You’ll make the well known Norwegian bread enjoyed at Christmas time, Julekake, rich like a brioche and sweet and citrusy like a panettone. Our crowning glory of Swedish Christmas bakes, the Kanellangd, pronounced ‘kin-a-link’ is both decorative and an absolute joy to eat. Much like the classic Swedish cinnamon buns, the dough is enriched and then filled with a spicy cinnamon butter, our expert bakers will show you how to transform this into the signature tear and share style loaf. As it’s Christmas, you’ll make some crisp pebernoder biscuits for good measure, traditional Swedish biscuits infused with multiple spices ideal for gifting.

This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience and runs for 3 hours.
