1st Workshop: Sunday 24th January 2021 10am.

Scandinavian bakes are growing increasingly popular in the UK and it’s easy to see why. Known for their unique use of spices and variety of flours that give incredible depth of flavour.

On this course we’ll be exploring some of the lesser known but quintessential bakes such as the Bread Ahead take on a Swedish saffron bun and a tart that celebrates the much loved bilberry.

Master enriched dough and pastry, so you can get to grips with the best of Scandinavian bakeris.

During the 2 hour live workshop we will bake: BREAD AHEAD SAFFRON BUNS & BLUEBERRY TART.

The recipes are designed for bakers of all skill level and to be mixed by hand, using domestic kitchen utensils. But you may find these recipes easier to produce with an electric mixer if you have one. Your workbook includes a complete ingredients shopping and equipment list. The workshop will last approximately 2 – 2.5  hours.
