Learn some fundamental cookery skills and create two delicious meals online.

Embrace our zero waste approach to cooking as we show you how to make the most of the humble chicken. We will begin with a lesson in butchery, carefully preparing a whole chicken ready to be turned into a stew, indulgent kievs, stock and moreish crispy skin.

Using the meat on the bone you will make a classic West African stew with peanuts, sweet potato and okra. The breast will be used to a real retro treat; chicken kiev, with plenty of garlic and crisp breadcrumbs. Zero waste being the key we’ll use the carcass to make stock and the final flourish of our oven baked skin. Humble but truly delicious.

The workshop will last approximately 2-2.5 hours.
