What’s included:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Ingredients, utensils, knives, equipment, aprons and carrier bags are provided for all courses. Some meals are included in the course cost – please see appropriate course details for further information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We reserve the right to make amendments to course content and recipes without notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Age requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n All minors under the age of 12\u00a0 may not attend as the class and equipment will not be suitable for their needs. Under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult. If at any point during the workshop the tutor believes the child is causing a disruption to the class, he\/she will ask both the adult and child to leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Health & Safety:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n All participants should wear shoes with flat, non-slip soles and covered toes. We cannot admit you into Bread Ahead without proper footwear. We recommend wearing sensible clothing (ie. not your Sunday best) and are not liable for any damage that occurs to clothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you have been or are suffering from food poisoning or an upset stomach (or have come into contact with anybody who is exhibiting these symptoms) within 48 hours of the course, we would ask that you not to attend and contact ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All open wounds must be covered, ideally with a blue plaster. If you don\u2019t have a blue plaster, let us know on arrival and we will be happy to provide one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Special dietary requirements & food allergies:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We are unable to tailor our course content for special dietary requirements; however when lunch is provided, there will be a vegetarian option. We will be happy to discuss course content beforehand to allow you to make your own alternative eating arrangements if necessary. There is no reduction in fee in this instance. Lateness:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Our workshops are packed with as much baking as we can possibly fit into them, so starting on time is crucial. As a result, it is essential you arrive promptly for your workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you are late, please be aware that the class may have started. Wherever possible, we will allow you to join in, however if you have missed essential parts of the class, this may not be an option. A refund will not be\u00a0provided in this instance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Payment:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n All payment must be made in full at the time of booking. We do not take provisional bookings and cannot confirm your place on a course until we receive full payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Delivery – Workshops & Gift Vouchers:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Upon successful completion of an online order with us you will receive confirmation of your order by email to your nominated email address. Gift vouchers codes will also be sent via email and you will be able to download a PDF of a gift voucher at this time (please bear in mind that you will have to manually write your voucher code and expiry date on the gift voucher. Without the voucher code, the recipient will not be able to redeem the gift voucher).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Liability:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Bread Ahead will not accept responsibility for the loss of any personal possessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Acceptable usage of course content:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Recipe booklets and reference materials are provided to support students in their ongoing development as incredible bakers and are issued for personal use only. The sharing of course materials by print, press, photocopy, email, blogs, internet or any digital transfer medium is strictly prohibited without the express written permission of Bread Ahead. If in doubt, please ask about what is and isn’t acceptable usage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cancellations:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n To request a cancellation you must provide Bread Ahead with written notice via email. Unless you have received acknowledgement from us that we have received your request, you cannot consider your request delivered. You may only terminate the contract in the circumstances set out below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Course cancellations with more than three months from of the start of your course<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n You may request a change of course date up to three months before the start of the course and we will happily transfer you to another course date, subject to availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You may also request a refund up to three months before the start of the course you have booked. In both instances, rescheduling or refunding bookings will be subject to an administration charge of \u00a325.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Course cancellations within three months of the start of your course<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n If you are unable to attend a course within 3 months of the start of the course, we regret that we will be unable to\u00a0 refund or reschedule the workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Travel insurance:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Bread Ahead is not liable for any issues with travel. We strongly recommend travel insurance that will cover your costs in the event of you being unable to attend your course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Travel insurance will cover you for many issues that may prevent you from attending your course such as illness, sickness of an immediate relative, travel disruption etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gift vouchers:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Refunds are not available on gift voucher purchases, nor can gift vouchers be exchanged for cash or other goods. Gift vouchers are transferable, so if you are unable to make your course, you may contact us to nominate a replacement. Gift vouchers are non-extendable and are valid for 1 year from their date of purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Please note that some workshops, such as our Tea House Masterclasses and other 2 & 3 day courses, are priced higher<\/strong> than our standard classes. If your chosen workshop exceeds the value of your voucher, you will be required to pay the difference when booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cancellations by Bread Ahead:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Bread Ahead is entitled to cancel any course at any time subject to the repayment of any deposit and fees received in respect of the course or the part of the course which has been cancelled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the unlikely event of cancellation of a course by ourselves, we undertake to offer a suitable transfer to an alternative date or course, or a full refund (within 14 days) of any course fees\u00a0 However if the workshop was paid for by gift voucher(s), we will replace the vouchers to the value.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n We cannot be held liable for any third-party costs, such as travel bookings or accommodation with hotels other than our own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Refunds:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n No refund will be made if you fail to attend all or any part of a course (and Bread Ahead is unable to reallocate your place).<\/p>\n\n\n\n All refunds are made to the source of the initial payment, ie. fees paid by a credit card can only be refunded to the same card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Privacy policy:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n VAT & Pricing:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n All Bread Ahead in person workshops which take place in the bakery schools \u00a0involve some student\/teacher baking, ensuring that all delegates leave with a generous amount of freshly baked products specific to the workshop attended. Please note that the price of the ingredients is included in the cost of your workshop\u00a0and is a non vatable charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n VAT is only charged only on the tuition aspect of the workshop. The cost price of the baked goods is \u00a330 per person, per workshop. Both charges combined provide the overall retail price of the workshop as \u00a0listed on our website.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
