FUTURE BAKERS PROJECT
Teaching one
million YOUNG PEOPLE
to bake
A long-term initiative from Bread Ahead dedicated to giving every young person the skills, confidence, and joy of baking.

OUR MISSION
The Future Bakers Project is a long‑term initiative dedicated to teaching 1,000,000 children and young adults to bake over the next decade. Our mission is to inspire creativity, build confidence, and equip young people with practical life skills through the joy of baking.
We believe baking is more than a recipe – it’s a pathway to independence, wellbeing, and self‑expression. By combining hands‑on workshops with accessible digital learning, we aim to make high‑quality baking education available to every young person, regardless of background or location.

A life skill for everyone
Knowing how to bake from scratch gives young people independence in the kitchen and a better understanding of what goes into their food. Skills that last a lifetime.
Confidence through creativity
There is something uniquely powerful about making something with your hands. Baking builds patience, problem-solving, and a quiet confidence that extends well beyond the kitchen.
Accessible to all
You don’t need experience, equipment, or money to be a baker. The Future Bakers Project removes every barrier through free workshops, free videos, and expert teaching available to everyone.

Tell us your year group, class size, and curriculum goals. We’ll suggest the right session for you.
2. Book your date
We’ll confirm your session, send a pre-visit information pack, and take care of the rest.
3. Bake together
Your students arrive, get their aprons on, and leave with new skills and something they made themselves.
For teachers, let us support you in your lesson plans and with practical tools to deliver first rate baking lessons at your school. Email us on futurebakers@breadahead.com to start the conversation today.
