Join us for this Easter Workshop where you’ll prepare some tasty treats –  traditional Hot Cross Buns as well as Swedish Semlor Buns, perfect your enriched dough making skills with us!

First you’ll learn to make our very own Bread Ahead hot cross buns – these will be both fluffy and mouth-watering with a generous helping of spices and citrus! They are perfect served warm with melting butter.

Semlor Buns are a traditional bake enjoyed on the first day of Lent, cardamom infused enriched buns filled with almond frangipane and a generous amount of whipped cream. In this half day workshop we’ll be celebrating the full spectrum of Easter bakes as well as perfecting your skills with enriched doughs.

This course uses wheat, egg, dairy, nuts and sulphites. Unfortunately we aren’t able to tailor recipes for substitutions or alterations, as these can fundamentally change the composition and outcome of the recipes. This Workshop runs for 3 hours.

This Workshop is suitable for all levels of experience.

Note: All minors under the age of 12  may not attend as the class and equipment will not be suitable for their needs. Under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult. If at any point during the workshop the tutor believes the child is causing a disruption to the class, he/she will ask both the adult and child to leave.
