A day of free baking, creativity and community at Borough Market.
The launch event at Bread Ahead Borough will bring together families, young bakers, partners and the wider community for a full day of free workshops, live baking experiences and interactive learning, alongside downloadable sessions for those joining from home.

THE BIG BAKE OFF
The Focaccia Challenge; a landmark community bake featuring a 20-metre focaccia creation, with a downloadable (not so long) version available for schools and home bakers nationwide.
13:00pm–14:00pm
Disney Blue Cookies Workshop
A themed children’s bake-along inspired by Star Wars Baking, making signature “blue cookies”, with downloadable recipe packs and an online version available.
14:15pm–15:15pm
Scones & Jam Public Baking Workshop
A major collaborative baking session bringing together partners, guest bakers and young participants.
15:15pm–16:00pm
Closing celebration
Throughout the day, visitors will also enjoy interactive partner stalls, Future Bakers information points, and live demonstrations, alongside opportunities to sign up for upcoming workshops and digital sessions.
